A former Uber driver Michael Pelletz is launching a new company called Chariot for Woman. The new ride sharing service will be just like Uber, but it will feature all female drivers and all passengers must be a female. The only exception to the rule is that a male can ride if he is age 13 or under. The company will donate 2% of every fare to charity.

This service is a really cool idea for women that travel alone. Chariot for Woman will be a great alternative for females that will offer a safe ride. Many women have been running into issues while using Uber alone. Some even claiming sexual harassment and rape allegations. Chariot for Woman will offer a sense of relief. Not only will the drivers be all females, but they will have to go through in-depth background checks. The service will launch April 19th in the Boston area.
